This week on iTunes free apps for education, I found an app called Quizlet. I have used this app before, and I love it! You can create your own set of flashcards either on an iTouch, iPad, iPhone, or any internet browser. I think this is a great way for students of all ages to study. Also a instructor can create a set of flashcards and open it up so students can find the instructors set. This is a great app for students to use outside of the classroom.

I also use to use this app for vocabulary words when I was in high school. It was easy to use and I believe it is better than flashcards because it's always with you. Nobody wants to carry around a stack of note cards, but you always have your phone.
