This week I found an app called Ansel & Clair: Paul Revere's Ride. This app was recently released. When kids were asked to respond why they thought it was a good way to learn, the responses were, “Because it teaches important history stuff in a fun to play way.” Or, the let me get right to the point comment, “Made boring history fun.” I think this is a great app to incorporate history into a fun playful way.

This app sounds very beneficial because history is usually a mundane subject that students have a hard time connecting with. If the app makes it enjoyable it is going to get the lesson across better.
ReplyDeleteI also think this app would be beneficial to the students because like Makayla said, history can be boring sometimes so it's always nice to see people trying to change that to make history can be fun!
