Edu App #5
For this weeks podcast I found an educational app called Native Numbers.This game provides provides a deeper understanding of number concepts and imperative math vocabulary, which is needed to build a strong foundation for all mathematics to follow. Starting early is by far the best way to achieve this. Research has shown over and over that children that have a solid and deep exposure to basic number concepts have the ability to learn and understand math skills later.

I like this cause from what I have gathered over the years, math seems to be one of the harder subject for people to get so by starting them out early could benefit their math skills.
ReplyDeleteI wish I would've known about this app going through school because I have always struggled in mathematics and this tool seems extremely helpful for students like myself.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting how they use a game to help students learn about math. Using games to help children build skills in any area of learning is an excellent way to teach children. That way they not only learn the material, but enjoy it and have fun at the same time. This is, at least to me, a very effective way to help children learn.
