Edu Apps #4

For this weeks podcast, I learned about an educational app called Vocabology- Word of the Day. This app gives you one new word everyday to learn. It is very simple to use and repetition in the quizzes help  the information really go through. It allows you to increase your knowledge and even other languages. They have words in English, French, German, and Japanese. You can listen to how the word is correctly said. It gives you the definition and examples of the word in different sentences. This app is rated 4 1/2 stars, and is only 99 cents. I think this is a great tool to increase vocabulary for any individual.

Edu Apps #2

In this weeks educational apps I found many apps regarding history and geography. There are apps for learning the history of the world from ancient times to the present day. There are high-definition historical documents and maps, you can watch videos, play interactive games, read relevant quotations, and more. I thought this was a great way to incorporate education into a fun and affective method!
